The Jewish Museum of Greece, continuing its action to combat anti-Semitism and promote Jewish life, through its participation in the ENCATE network, organized, with the support of the General Secretariat of Religions of the Ministry of Education and Religions and co-financed by the European Union, a seminar with subject: "Our perspective is changing: Workshops to combat anti-Semitism and support Jewish life in Greece".

The workshop, which took place on Thursday 25 May 2023, at the Ionian Center in Plaka, was a high-level meeting, where teachers, participants from Non-Governmental Organizations and representatives of the Ministry of Education and Culture had the opportunity to exchange opinions and ideas both regarding the actions they have carried out themselves in their schools and institutions, as well as for the measures to be taken to counter anti-Semitism and strengthen Jewish life throughout the Greek territory.

As part of the seminar, the EME had the honor of hosting the special envoy of Greece for the fight against anti-Semitism and the defense of the memory of the Holocaust, Ambassador Chrysoula Aliferis, Nissim Benmayor, Member of the Board of Directors and the Anti-Semitism Committee of the Israelite Community of Athens and Panagiotis Christodoulou, Director of the Network for the Rights of the Child, where they proceeded with detailed presentations of its actions, while at the same time providing an impetus for further reflection and dialogue with the participants. The seminar closed with a guided tour of the Jewish Museum of Greece by the director of the EME, Janet Battinou and the researcher of the EME, dr. Alexandra Patrikiou.
