The members of E.N.E. from Thessaloniki, Annie Soel and Samis Mosios, were in Rhodes, from July 18 to 20, 2025, to commemorate the Holocaust Remembrance Day of the Jews of the island, participating in a three-day event that combined memory, history and living experiences.

The journey through history was guided by the Rabbi of Athens, Gabriel Negrin, who, through a guided tour of the Old City, highlighted the rich Jewish tradition, as well as the climate of coexistence and multiculturalism that characterized the island for centuries.

As part of the official commemoration event, representatives of the ENE lit a candle and laid a wreath at the Jewish Holocaust Martyrs Memorial, paying tribute to the fallen Jews of Rhodes.

The presence and active participation of youth in the event is a reminder that the responsibility of preserving memory and history is passed on to the next generation. Through knowledge, dialogue and solidarity, young people become the bearers of a future where respect and peaceful coexistence will be the foundation of our society.

The E.N.E. warmly thanks the Jewish Community of Rhodes for the invitation and warm hospitality.
