Dear Friends,

The new KIS website is now a fact! We present it to you after the site is upgraded. With a new format, modern technology, a flexible and comprehensible structure, the KIS website maintains all the rich material that was listed on the old website, offering global information with a high aesthetic, with an emphasis on current affairs but also on history and culture, while the visitor has the possibility to browse various topics related to Greek and world Jewry.

The two rows of the horizontal menu of the Home page include categories, subcategories and external links that cover the entire range of activities of Greek and World Jewry.

New categories: the Holocaust (with an emphasis on education, actions to preserve memory and research), o Anti-Semitism (with an emphasis on the initiatives to combat it), and the Israel (with rich articleography, sub-category on Greece-Israel relations and external links).

An attractive slide show alternates the main current issuesIn the columns that follow, news from the Greek and World Jewry and one useful calendar of upcoming events and activities.

Also, for the first time, News of the Jewish Communities around Greece appear on the frontpage, highlighting the pulse of Jewish life in Greece and the important work done by the Communities to preserve and highlight the Jewish heritage nationwide.

And because, in recent years, events of Remembrance, history and culture have expanded throughout the country - from Didymoteicho to Kos, and from Preveza and Veria to Chania - preserving and highlighting local history, our site includes and the new category of actions in Other Cities.
