On October 15, the "appeal in favor of the law" against the 913/2009 decision of the Five-member Court of Appeal of Athens, which acquitted K. Pleuris of the charges of public incitement to acts of violence and expression of offensive ideas, was discussed at the Plenary Session of the Supreme Court through his book "Jews - The Whole Truth". The appeal in favor of the law was requested from the Plenary by the Deputy Prosecutor Mr. Fotis Makris with No. 34/2009, dated 1th July 2009, his report.

On 21.01.09, the K.I.S., the Cervantes Institute in Athens and the Embassy of Spain in Greece, in collaboration with CasaSefarad-Israel, organized an event, at the Spiritual Center of I.K. Athens, for the presentation of the book "S. R. Radigales and the Sephardim of Greece (1943 - 1946). The humanitarian work of the Spanish diplomat SR Radigales", published by CasaSefarad-Israel.

On 21.01.09, in a special ceremony organized by the K.I.S. and the Embassy of Israel, at the Spiritual Center of I.K. Athens, the honorary title and medal of the "Right of Nations" of the "YadVashem" Foundation was awarded posthumously to Dr. Ioannis Theoharis for the rescue of Greek Jews during the German Occupation.
