The contract for the execution of the project entitled "Joseph" Digital repository of historical memory and culture of the Israelite Communities of Greece was signed on 17.1.2023 by the president of the Israelite Community of Thessaloniki, David Saltiel, and the president and CEO of the OTE Group, Michalis Chamaz.
The object of the contract is the digitization, documentation and digital management of the archives of the Jewish Communities of Thessaloniki, Athens, Rhodes and the Organization for the Care and Rehabilitation of Israelis of Greece (O.P.A.I.E.). At the same time, utilizing innovative IT technologies, digital educational applications will be developed for the promotion of material and immaterial cultural resources, with respect to the historical memory of the Greek Jewish Communities.

The Artas Bar Association has published its new calendar for 2023, which includes in its introductory pages, among other important historical documents and photographs, a letter between the Italian Jew David Vital and the Artian Jew Ben Mattathias.
According to an art collector who provided a copy of the letter to the Arta Bar Association, this letter was written in 1530 and the original is in the Bodleian Oxford University library and probably refers to social issues.
