The students of the KI series of EDA were informed at the Jewish Museum of Greece and the Sephardic and Romani Synagogue, where the seat of the Israelite Community of Athens is also located, about the rich presence of the Judaism of Greece since antiquity, the identity of the Greek Jews and its scourge antisemitism. They paid tribute to the Holocaust Memorial, a reminder of the horror that intolerance can cause but also a commitment that this crime will not be repeated. The Students were accompanied by the Special Envoy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the fight against Anti-Semitism and the Protection of the Memory of the Holocaust, Ambassador Ms. X. Aliferi.
Warm thanks to the Director of the Jewish Museum Mrs. Janet Battinou, the Most Reverend Rabbi of Athens Mr. Gabriel Negrin and Mr. Monis Halewa and Mrs. Rosa Roussou, Vice President and Member respectively of the Israelite Community of Athens.
