The Foundation of the Hellenic Parliament for Parliamentaryism and Democracy, within the framework of the exhibition "In the same city: Christians and Jews in Thessaloniki", which it co-organizes with the Israelite Community of Thessaloniki, the Jewish Museum of Thessaloniki and the G. Konstantinidis Archive, organizes meetings discussion and knowledge.

The first meeting, on "Gender and memory: Christian and Jewish women in the same city", will take place on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at 19:00. Frangiski Ambatzopoulou, emeritus professor of Modern Greek Philology (Department of Philology, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) and member of the scientific committee of the Hellenic Parliament Foundation will speak on the topic: "Jewish women of Thessaloniki: life stories and oral testimonies". Rika Benveniste, professor of History (Department of History, Archeology and Social Anthropology, University of Thessaly) will speak on the topic: "For Luna from Thessaloniki".

The event will take place at the exhibition space of the Hellenic Parliament Foundation, 11 Vasilissis Sofias (entrance from Sekeri), Athens.

Entrance is free for the public.
