A large delegation of 36 Israeli students from 3 schools in Jerusalem, participating in the ICYL (Israeli Center for Young Leaders) program, came to Athens on 8.5.2025, hosted by the Embassy of Israel in Greece, and met with more than 180 students from a total of 14 different Lyceums in Piraeus. They also had meetings and tours at the Greek Parliament, the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the American College of Greece, and the offices of the European Commission in Greece.
Young people were given the opportunity to exchange ideas, discuss social issues, make new friends, dance Israeli and Greek dances, bond meaningfully, and let the image speak for itself.
We are proud and excited that young Israelis and Greeks, having so much in common, are getting to know each other, uniting, and learning about each other's culture.
A true celebration of Greek-Israeli friendship brings our young people together!
