With an initiative full of meanings and messages, the Embassy of Greece in Israel celebrated the National Day of March 25th at Kibbutz Beeri, one of the kibbutzim that were hit by Hamas terrorists during the attack of 7.10.2023.
“We wanted to share this important and symbolic day with our friends at Kibbutz Beeri, which symbolizes courage, strength, perseverance and endurance. We wanted to send a message of support and solidarity. To show that we have not forgotten.” With these words, the Ambassador of Greece, Ms. Maya Solomou, began her speech, characteristic of the bonds and common values between the two peoples and the two countries.
And he concluded with a powerful message of hope: “We want to be with you as hope and life replace the darkness, as you rebuild your lives, rebuild your homes, plant your gardens, turn the ruins into life. Better days will come and you will be able to dance again. And when you do, we will dance with you.” Video HERE
