On 12.9.2024, the Charge d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Athens, Mrs. Charlotte Schwarzer, visited the Jewish Museum of Thessaloniki. After her tour of all the Museum's rooms and the Library-research center, she was informed about the research and educational programs implemented at the Museum.
The next day Ms. Schwarzer visited with the Museum's Scientific Manager, Dr. Xenia Eleftheriou, and the former Professor of AUTH Dr. Giorgos Antoniou the Monastery Synagogue, the Holocaust memorial and the place where the Holocaust Museum will soon be built.
