On Saturday, March 29, 2025, the traveling exhibition "KARYA 1943. Forced Labor and the Holocaust" was inaugurated at the Folklore and Ethnographic Museum of Macedonia Thrace.
The exhibition, organized by the Center for Documentation of Nazi Forced Labor of the Topography of Terror Foundation in collaboration with the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, is under the auspices of the Minister of Culture, Lina Mendoni, and the German Minister of Culture and the Media, Claudia Roth.

Hundreds of Thessaloniki residents, young, old, and young children, participated in the Memorial March that took place on March 16.3.2025, XNUMX, with the weather as their ally. Holding white balloons in their hands, they sent the message "Never Again."
The Memorial March started from Eleftherias Square and ended at the old Railway Station, where after the speeches, dozens of Thessaloniki residents left a flower on the train carriages and lit a white candle at the scene.

The Municipality of Thessaloniki, in collaboration with the Jewish Community of Thessaloniki and the city's three major university institutions, will organize for another year a series of events culminating in the Commemoration March entitled "Never Again, Thessaloniki-Auschwitz 82 years since the departure of the first train" next Sunday 16.3.2025, in order to honor the at least 50.000 people who lost their lives in the Holocaust.
