On November 13, 2012, an educational seminar of the Jewish Museum of Greece on "Teaching about the Holocaust in Greece" was held in Ioannina. Professor Eleni Kourmantzi participated in the seminar, who gave a presentation on "Oral history sources about the Holocaust and their application in Education".

On the initiative of the Professor of Modern History at the University of Athens, Mr. Hagen Fleisser, and the cooperation of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and ERT, a group of History students from the University of Athens visited, last April, Nazi concentration camps in Germany, accompanied by their teacher Mr. Fleischer. This educational journey through history and memory was recorded with his camera by director Ilias Giannakakis, for ET 1's "Behind the Scenes" series. the first screening of the documentary took place in the framework of an event on "Hagen Fleischer and the Wars of Memory", organized on 9.11.2010 by the Goethe Institute in Athens. After the screening, there was a discussion by Athens University professors H. Fleisser and Antonis Liakou, the director and historians Anna Maria Drouboukis and Jason Handrinou.
