The European Jewish Congress (EJC) elected the Dr. Moshe Kantor for a fifth term as Chairman of the Board of Directors.
At the General Assembly, held on 21.5.25, in Jerusalem, representatives from more than 40 Jewish communities and organizations in Europe elected veteran leader Cantor by an overwhelming majority - almost two-thirds of the votes. M. Cantor replaces the outgoing interim president Ariel Muzikant, who was his opponent in these elections.
As EJC president from 2007-2022, Kantor prioritized combating anti-Semitism, strong cooperation with European institutions, initiating and developing key projects on Holocaust remembrance and community safety.
