THE DISTINGUISHED VOLIOTI MASTER ERRIKOS FREZIS AT THE NERIT SYMPHONY

The distinguished conductor of Volio, Errikos Frezis, is among the distinguished conductors who will be on the podium of the National Symphony Orchestra of NERIT. His firstborn son Rafael and Yvonne Frezi, will conduct the above ensemble in her concert November 23th.

From Sunday November 2 and every Sunday at noon at 12:00 and for one hour, the NERIT Ensembles will take us on a live journey to the wonderful world of symphonic music of the countries of the earth.

The National Symphony Orchestra of NERIT, under the direction of well-known conductors, will offer "Musical Geography" lessons every Sunday, through concerts that will take place in studio C of the Radio House of Ag. Friday and will be broadcast directly by NERIT TV.

Each show will be dedicated to representative composers of a country. "Musical Geography" is not a simple series of concerts or TV shows, but a live presentation, in an inventive way, of the most important works of symphonic music and is addressed both to those who know the secrets of the art of sounds, and to those who want to to discover them.

FILM ABOUT THE GREEK JEWS AT THE AUSTRALIAN FILM FESTIVAL

One year ago, in September 2013, KISE and the Israeli Communities welcomed the visit of the Australian producer and director Carol Gordon and her film team and - through interviews and the provision of material - contributed to the implementation of the program Following Shira's Journey: a greek Jewish Odyssey.
The program concerns the production of a documentary film, on the subject of Jewish life in Greece, which is rendered through the stories of Sira, a hostage survivor of the Holocaust, and his search in various cities throughout Greece. The program also includes the publication of the script in a book and the photo exhibition from the rich photographic material taken in Greece by the well-known Australian photographer Emmanuel Santos.
The documentary film has now been completed and - as announced by its page at facebook -will have its first world premiere on the 21stο Australian Greek Film Festival, with two screenings on 26.10.14, in Melbourne and Sydney.

Its target audience 2nd Hellenic Forum is the scientific community in Greece, the Greek scientists of the Diaspora, industry and business executives, as well as students in Greece and abroad.

Some of the speeches such as, for example, those concerning health and safety, also concern a non-specialist audience.

The 2nd Hellenic Forum seeks to strengthen the cooperation possibilities of the Greek scientific community with Greek scientists of the Diaspora, but also to expand synergies with industry and businesses. 

He will attend and speak at the conference Tuesday 1η July 10.00-10.30 am the top Israeli scientist Prof. Michal Neeman (Dean of Biology Faculty & Director of the Clore Center for Biological Physics) from the Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel in topic "Application of MRI for Imaging Vascular Remodeling".

As part of the Seminar "Teaching about the Holocaust in Greece", the official screening of the film "The Song of Life" by Toni Lykouresis took place in Zakynthos on Monday 23 June 2014 at 17.30 pm in the event hall of TEI Ionian Islands (Minotou Giannopoulou, Zante)

 The event was prefaced by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Dodoni, Mr. Chrysostomos.
