On Saturday December 10, 2022 at 12:00 p.m., Ianos and Pataki publications are organizing at Ianos (Stadiou 24, Athens) the presentation of his book Leon A. Nar "To find the end of the thread again...", sketch of a poetic biography of Thanasis Papakonstantinou.
The book will be spoken by: Dimitris Angelis, poet, director of "Frear" magazine, Giorgos Allamanis, journalist, Dora Rizou, production manager at "Lyra", Thanasis Triaridis, writer and the author of the book.
A few words about the book: A book about the lyrical world of Thanasis Papakonstantinou, who has been much loved thanks to his songs. In the two parts of this poetic biography project - "With his own walk" and "Thematic and origins" - the social dimension of Papakonstantinou's verses, which in various ways reflect the intensity of existential anxiety, as well as the their relation to folk song and modern poetry. It also attempts, through characteristic examples of songs, to understand the creator's gaze towards the world and himself, society and the individual, the present and the past, memory and vision, East and West. Thanasis Papakonstantinou himself contributed to the effort of composing this book, willingly answering the author's questions about his poetic worldview.
The Political Philosophy Laboratory (EPoFi) of the Department of Philosophy (EKPA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs and the Mémorial de la Shoah (Paris), invites undergraduate and postgraduate students of the Department of Philosophy to register to attend the two-day seminar "The Holocaust and mass atrocity: comparing to single out", with working languages English and Greek (there will be simultaneous translation from English).

On December 6 and 7, 2022, a two-day International Seminar is being organized for the third time by the Institute of International Relations (IDIS) of Panteion University, the Ministry of Education and Religion and the Foundation for the Remembrance of the Holocaust in Paris (Mémorial de la Shoah). The cooperation has now become institutional after the signing of a relevant Memorandum of Cooperation in the spring of 2023. The subject is "Never again;" Holocaust, Genocides and Mass Atrocities in the 20th and 21st Centuries.
Seven scientists, French and Greek, will shed light on various aspects of the persecution of the Jews, such as Nazi policy and the deconstruction of myths related to the Holocaust (Tal Bruttman, EHESS), the deportations and extermination of the Greek Jews (Lea Micha, Yad Vashem ), the Eamian Resistance and the Jews (Jason Chandrinos, University of Regensburg), experiences of displacement, Resistance and rescue of Jews and the transfer of memory (Odette Varon-Vassar, EME and IDIS). Theodosios Kyriakidis (APTH) will speak about the genocide of the Greeks of Pontus, while Juliette Bour (EHESS) will speak about the genocide of the Tutsis. On the legal and historiographical context of mass atrocities, Stalinist policy and mass atrocities in the war in Ukraine Thomas Chopard (EHESS).

On Sunday, November 27, 2022 at 19:00 at the Community Center of I.K. Athens, (Vissarionos 9) will be the presentation of the book by the journalist and political communication consultant Jean Cohen "The Turbulent Decade for the Jewry of Greece 1980-1990".
The book will be presented by Mariana Pyrgioti, journalist - political analyst and Viktoras Eliezer, journalist.
The event will be moderated by Ioannis Papafloratos, Lawyer - international expert.
