ONE. – Jewish Youth of Athens
E.N.A. is the official and legal Jewish Youth of Athens. Every two years the young people over 18 with their own vote anoint the next council which consists of 6 members: The president, the vice president, the treasurer, the secretary and two members. Purpose of this council is to strengthen the relations of young people, to keep them informed about religious, cultural and cultural news and to deal with various social problems of the young Greek Jew. Also, the council organizes several entertainment events from which members experience unforgettable moments and unique experiences.
The Jewish Youth of Athens currently has approximately 300 registered members with over 30 events a year. Of which about ten are of a religious content, such as e.g. rabbinical talks, book launches, and events that address our religion in depth. The other fifteen or so refer to entertainment events such as theaters, entertainment centers, musicals and dance competitions. Finally, the other five are domestic and foreign excursions with the aim of getting to know each other better, but also with the Jewish Communities abroad.
With patience, will and stubbornness, the councils will always strive for the best of the new Greek Jew, as it is our duty as a council to remind him and emphasize his religious identity.
