Kristallnacht, the Nazi pogrom against the Jews of Germany on the night of November 9, 1938, marked the first decisive step toward normalizing hatred, legitimizing violence, and denying Jewish rights.

We express our deep sorrow for the loss of Dionysis Savvopoulos, the great creator and songwriter who left an indelible mark on Greek music, whose songs accompanied Greeks of all ages in joy and love, in anguish and despair.
