The book "The Diary of Anne Frank" is included in the free audio literary books that will be recorded and included in the eVivlio application, which will be accessible to students, teachers and book lovers. The Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports is innovating with the creation of the eVivlio application, which it designed and implemented in collaboration with the audio book platform Bookvoice.
The books that will be recorded will soon be distributed in printed form to all students in the country, in an effort to introduce them to literature and strengthen their love of reading.

The 2025 Holocaust Remembrance Day events were organized by Pierce's English department and were an important opportunity for students to honor the memory of the victims and learn valuable lessons for the present and the future.
Specifically, on January 20, 2025, the event for the third year of High School was held, where students had the opportunity to listen to the author Beatrice Saia-Magrizou, daughter of Holocaust survivors, who wrote the book "The Bracelet of Fire". Through her moving narrative, the students learned about the unknown aspects of the lives of the Jews of Greece during World War II, understanding on a human level the magnitude of the tragedy.
On Wednesday, February 19, 2025, the results of the student competition for the creation of a short film (video) on the topic "The Holocaust in the collective memory of Greeks" for the academic year 2024-2025 were announced, according to the evaluation of the competent committee.
The award winners and distinguished students in the competition, which is being held for the 11th year by the General Secretariat for Religious Affairs of the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports in collaboration with the Jewish Museum of Greece, will participate in a special educational program of the Jewish Museum of Greece that includes an educational visit to the "Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum" in Poland. For the school. year 2024-2025 the student short film creation competition was held, for the first time, simultaneously in Cyprus, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth of Cyprus, based on the Memorandum of 27/02/2024 between the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports (General Secretariat of Religious Affairs) of the Hellenic Republic, the Church of Greece, the Central Jewish Council of Greece, the Jewish Museum of Greece, the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth of the Republic of Cyprus and the Church of Cyprus.
With a large participation of students from schools in Trikala, the events for the national day of remembrance of the Greek Jewish Martyrs of the Holocaust, which had begun with an event on 27, continued on Monday, January 2025, 19.1.25.
In the context of International Holocaust Remembrance Day 2025, the Jewish Community of Chalkida welcomed school students from all educational levels to the Synagogue.
The students were given a tour of the Synagogue and spoke with the general secretary of the I.K. Chalkida, Mr. Mair Maisi, who, through the personal experiences he recounted to his students, pointed out that we must teach future generations about the Holocaust, along with respect for people's diversity and beliefs.
